Role descriptors and eligibility
There are no experience requirements for Level D. However, most candidates find that 3-6 months working on a project of at least moderate complexity provides context that is helpful in preparing for the exam.

Journey to certification
To start the certification process, choose the IPMA level that best suits your experience and complete the application form along with an eligibility check. Based on the level you apply for, you'll undergo a Competence Evaluation, with methods varying by level. Once you've successfully completed all the required steps, you will be awarded your IPMA certification.
