As a member of IPMA's global federation of more than 70 project management associations worldwide, IPMA Australia offers access to thought leadership, professional development, internationally recognised certification frameworks, peer networking, project management awards and global collaboration.

Student membership

A Student Member is someone who is enrolled in an accredited school of higher education in full time education, and interested in pursuing project management as a career choice.

Associate membership

An Associate Member is someone who is working towards an IPMA qualification, but does not meet the minimum requirements of Full Membership, and interested in pursuing project management as a career choice.

Full membership

A Full Member is someone who is engaged in project management, or in disciplines or other professions that are related to project management, and meets the minimum requirements of Full membership.

Fellow membership

A Fellow Member is someone who is engaged in project management, or in disciplines or other professions that are related to project management, and meets the minimum requirements of Fellow membership.

Honorary Fellow membership

An Honorary Fellow Member is by invitation only, and reflects leaders in project management.

Membership fees

Annual individual membership fees

All fees are invoiced following a successful application. Payment terms are 30 days, and membership becomes active once payment has been received.

Student, Associate, Full Member and Fellow membership is free for the first year where the member undertakes an IPMA certification. Eligibility is verified by IPMA Australia before any fee is waived, so please tell us on your application if you believe this applies to you. Tax treatment of these fees is yet to be confirmed by IPMA Australia.
