Membership levels

Choose your level

You will need a free IPMA Australia account to apply — it lets you save a draft and track your application. You can sign in or create one on the next step.

Honorary Fellow is conferred by invitation of IPMA Australia and has no application pathway; the fee is to be advised.

Membership is free for the first year for Student, Associate, Full Member and Fellow where the member undertakes an IPMA certification. IPMA Australia verifies eligibility before any fee is waived, so tell us on your application if you believe this applies to you.

How it works

The application process

  1. Choose your level

    Select the membership level that matches your study, work or experience.

  2. Apply online

    Answer the application questions, attach any supporting documents and submit. You can save and return to a draft at any time.

  3. Review

    IPMA Australia reviews your application and may come back to you if more information is needed.

  4. Activation

    Once approved, your membership term is recorded and, where a fee applies, payment is requested.
